Wildwood Camp

Wildwood Camp

Wildwood Camp is a place between worlds and times, a place for people to go in moments of distress. Often, the denizens are bullied teens or kids frustrated with the state of the world. The camp finds the ones who look for it in unexpected places: tunnels under bridges, empty rooftops, overgrown corners of parks. The Wildwood is tended by creatures of the forest beyond its walls, ones few have seen.
Sometimes, those who come to the Wildwood as kids stay as adults, preferring the community of the woods. Othertimes, they stay kids until they return to a world different and alien than the one they escaped. Every time, the woods know what they need and give them the power to achieve it.

Crow Cabin

The Crow Cabins are home to the bright, curious, and sociable. They are the thinkers, researchers, and inventors of the Wildwood, the ones creating massive machines that run only with pulleys and gears, the ones studying the woods and their inhabitants. The cabins are full of chatter, ideas, and hiding places. Hammocks line one wall, accompanied by bean bag chairs and desks. The workshops behind the cabin are always full of materials and research books, allowing for endless experiments.

Falcon Cabin

The ones who call the Falcon Cabins home are impulsive, competitive, and confident. Perched right above the athletic fields and in a convenient spot near the infirmary, the Falcon Cabins are known for being rowdy and fast-paced. The cabin boasts a rock wall on one side and massive windows in all directions, letting light into the large lounge. Almost everyone in the Falcon Cabins has a drive to do things better and faster, leading to fierce competition.

Otter Cabin

The creative and imaginative people in the Otter Cabins are filled with curiosity and wonder at the world around them. Almost everyone in the cabins pursues an art of some form or another and are often seen sharing their talents with their bunkmates. The cabins are seperated from the rest by the creek and a bridge that connects them to the mainland. Placed inside giant trees on an island, every cabin is full of nests of blankets and bean bags, and they are most known for the underwater art studios that boast a dome of glass, allowing denizens to see the creatures that call the creek home.

Bobcat Cabin

Nestled in the cabin closest to the woods, the denizens of the Bobcat Cabins are solitary and thoughtful. Many of them are notoriously territorial and protective, so most of those outside of the cabins avoid getting close to the building if they can help it. Despite their reputations as stubborn loners, the folks of the Bobcat Cabins have each other's back, even if they don't always admit it. They are the fixers of the camp, prefering to work with their hands. Inside, each cabin features a massive skylight on the roof, opposite the bunk beds. The beds have a curtain around them, since many of the folks are late risers. The roof above the beds is covered in glow in the dark stars, since it is a tradition to put a star on the ceiling above your bunk when you first arrive, and then again after you leave. In the kids cabin, there's a tradition that some of them put up a star when they achieve a third thing, but all of them swear it a secret on their life.
